This Spanish Colonial design is influenced by turn of the century structures in southern Spain, especially Andalusia. The home honors such characteristics as arch arcades, deep portals, a flat roof, and parapets with artfully-shaped canales. The home’s load-bearing adobe blocks support both the wall structure and the roof, providing the outward character for both the interior and exterior and honestly expressing the home’s historical heritage.
